Hi. I'm Rick Rocharca.
Designer with over 13 years of experience, currently working as a Product Design Manager. I focus on building user-centered experiences and supporting the growth and development of design teams. Originally from Brazil and now based in Hungary, I bring a global perspective to product and experience design.

Rick is a firecracker. I've seen him grow leaps and bounds in the time that I've managed him. He's got tremendous talent for developing designers, building a performance culture, and organizational communication. I appreciate his incredible work ethic, commitment to the team, and willingness to take feedback and grow. He will also emoji react to your jokes in Teams, and we all know that is a KEY quality in a colleague. I would hire him again and again.

I had the chance to work with Rick when he led our UX team—and I'm genuinely grateful for that experience. As a manager, he brought a clear vision but also made space for new ideas, which created an environment where I felt both challenged and empowered. He helped me grow not just through feedback, but by trusting me with bigger responsibilities and encouraging me to explore areas outside my comfort zone. That trust and support made a real difference in how I see my own capabilities today. If you’re looking for someone who values people, process, and progress equally, Rick brings all three. My time on his team made a lasting impact on my career—and definitely raised the bar for what good management can look like.

I had the pleasure of working with Rick for about 2 years, and I can honestly say he’s one of the most caring and supportive managers I’ve ever worked with. He was not only a great mentor to me in design, strategy, and career development, but also someone I could always count on for thoughtful advice and encouragement. His deep domain knowledge in SaaS and CX really stood out, and I learned a ton from him—especially when it came to building modular design solutions like frameworks and design systems. He has a real talent for thinking big picture while also paying attention to the details that make a design system truly scalable and effective. What I appreciated most, though, is how he brings out the best in people. He genuinely invests in his team and creates an environment where people feel safe, empowered, and motivated to do great work. Any team would be lucky to have him.

Rick is the type of manager who will give you space and, at the same time, will be there for you, helping you grow, empowering you, and keeping an open door for conversations. He builds an environment of trust. I had the privilege of being promoted with Rick being my manager, and that growth happened through genuine support and partnership. From the beginning, I felt truly welcomed and safe to develop. His leadership style encourages confidence, offers guidance without micromanaging, and makes a real difference in people's growth. I’m very grateful for all his support.
